Wedding Spotlight:

Bradley + Kristen

Kristin and Bradley got married on September 25th , 2020. This is their story of how they
met and how they knew they were meant to be together.

We met at Brad's work (Ace hardware which is across the street from my work). I had just
purchased my first house and went in to buy paint. He helped me out (we flirted a bit) and I
went on my way. I had to go back for more paint and remodeling supplies several times (which
caused us to flirt and get to know one another more). During one of our conversations we
discovered that not only did we go to high school together and graduate in the same class, but
two of our good friends dated. Talk about God putting blinders on you until you grow up enough
to meet the person meant for you! Anyways, he had found me on Facebook and friended
me(even though he said he didn't use his Facebook anymore). After that, I went into his work
for my last round of paint and I said "oh, hi 'friend'!  You know, this will probably be my last time
seeing you for awhile. I don't need anymore paint since I'm almost done with all the rooms."  We
finished talking, I checked out and as I was loading the paint in my car, Brad came jogging out
of the store and said "I know this probably isn't the most professional thing to do, but I was
wondering if I could get your phone number and take you to dinner sometime?" I said yes, and
the rest is history.

When did you know he/she was the one? Was there something he/she did?, etc.

Bride: the amount of attention he paid to our conversations when we first started dating and he
made each date about my favorite things. He cared more about what was important to me than
I did.

Groom: she said, "throw pillows are the bane of my existence" got me lol.

Tell us about the proposal. (Did you see it coming, how long was it in the planning? How did
you feel? nervous, excited, freaking out?)

Bride: It was on Thanksgiving with all of our family there. I had no idea, he set me up to surprise
me while trying out a virtual reality game. I took off the headset/mask and he was on one knee.
It was simple and sweet.

Tell us the one thing you love most about each other.
Bride: I love how he loves me when I may not feel love for myself. I love how much he loves my
family and they love him. He's the most genuinely kind human, and I'm blessed to get to spend
the rest of my life with him.

Groom: she is hilarious. She has the biggest heart of anyone I know.

If you feel comfortable, share with us something silly or quirky the other person does.
We both talk to each other in different accents almost all the time. Brad dances goofy all the
time.
